Plaid shirts have always been my go-to layering piece for fall. I usually wear them under my favorite, but sometimes itchy, long sleeve sweaters (seen here) or I’ll throw one over a simple top to keep me warm. Each year, as my collection of plaid shirts continues to grow, mostly from Madewell as you can see below, I always try to include check prints in lots of bright colors.
