Poor Little It Girl - American Eagle Outfitters Springtime Dresses

One of my go-to brands for springtime dresses is American Eagle Outfitters. For a brand that I wore back in my college days, their styles still work for my everyday life even though I’m no longer a sorority girl in my early 20’s. I was challenged by the AEO team to dress up and dress down two of my favorite looks for the season. For my “dress down” look, I went for an easy mini dress with cut out detailing, added on neon slip on sneakers and mirror aviators for a fun weekend outfit. To dress things up a bit, I couldn’t get enough of this embroidered maxi dress (that I shared my love for back in this post) that paired perfectly with a bold lip and wedges. So let me know, how do you prefer to wear your springtime dresses – dressed up or dressed down?

The maxi dress was made for you! It’s casual but you still look like a princess. The blue dress is adorable as well, I saw it on sale the other week and I just didn’t see it’s true potential! Great post!

American Eagle has THE BEST sundresses. Love both of these (been eyeing the cut out one too!) And after all this traveling this month, I need a pair of chic slip ons. Must find some for my closet.

It’s so funny that you posted this. My husband and I were at the mall this weekend and he asked if I wanted to look at dresses in AEO, and I replied with, “No, I think it’s a little young for me now.”

But you’ve proved me wrong! They do have some cute items that aren’t only in style if you’re 15 and a size 0, haha. Thanks!

Love the maxi dress! That look would be perfect for a casual summer wedding. (and kudos for the song – it reminded me of my college days, as well!)
