Best Blanket Scarves - Poor Little It Girl

Do you feel that? Dare I say…there’s a chill in the air! Well about dang time. I’ve been anxiously awaiting for the crisp cool air of fall for so long, I’m ready! And of course, the best part of fall fashion: the big blanket scarves! Y’all have known I’m a huge fan of giant scarves for years now. This iconic style is what started it all when I picked it up from Zara in (I think) 2013. Honestly, I wore it so much that I hardly take it out anymore in fear that something will happen to it, ha! After that I kind of went crazy and got a green version and then this one from last fall that’s now my new favorite. Oh and I just picked up this one last week! My motto: you can never own too many!

Even if it’s not cool where you live just yet, now is the time to grab as many blanket scarves you can get your hands on. They sell out. The good ones always do! I’ve done a roundup of my favorite blanket scarf styles I currently just took out of storage, as well as a few new styles to add to the collection.

I agree….I have like 10….in different colors……and if I see other colors…PSHHHH…..I will buy them too! you can never have too many! What I love the most is that I don’t have to wear a necklace ….the blanket scarf is just one giant cozy accessory!

BTW I just got 2 cute blanket scarves….in HOBBY LOBBY in the fall section hahah for 40% off

Any suggestions for all-cotton blanket scarves? I love the look but I just can’t stand wool on my neck. I returned a gorgeous blue plaid one to J. Crew last year because it was so itchy, and I was devastated!

I do know that J.Crew tends to use a lot of wool in theirs. I’d def suggest checking out ZARA or Target…their scarves are the softest ones I own! xoxo Cathy

I was switching over my wardrobe and counting 8, yes EIGHT, blanket scarves. The obsession is SO real. I remember I bought the same Zara one around the same time you did a few years ago, and I love how they’re such a trend now!

How do you store your scarves? I probably own close to 40 and keep them in a bin! It’s so sad. I used to keep them on a hanger intended for multiple pairs of pants, buuuuut the hanger snapped due to the weight. Haha!

OH yes I def have had to get rid of a few over the years b/c I wear them to death. But the original Zara one I can’t part with…I need to keep it in a glass case for safe keeping at this point! I even get stopped on the street from girls asking to buy it from me! SO weird! xoxo Cathy

I’ve noticed that we own the same ASOS blanket scarf (the one on top of the stack on the cover picture). My biggest problem is how to style it perfectly and still be able to move my head. How do you use to wear it? Do you have any post devoted to styling of blanket scarves? Many thanks!
