When I lived in DC, I had a small closet. We’re talking super small. I didn’t have the luxury to hold on to pieces that I didn’t wear often. I just didn’t have the space or storage. On top of that I was poor. Selling clothes I didn’t wear on the regular to my local consignment store was like my second job to earn additional income. But now that we’re in Atlanta, I have a big walk in all to myself I love (thank you baby Jesus)! I no longer am forced to get rid of things so quickly. But even in DC, there were a few pieces I held on to for longer than most because I just loved them so much.
This black T-shirt dress is certainly one of them! You first spotted it here with black booties and a big scarf. The second time I wore it with a tweed coat and statement necklace for a more dressed up look. And today, it’s back! I don’t think I paid more than $30 for this dress from ASOS and and it’s withstood the test of time. Don’t you just love pieces like that!
