The cool, crisp fall weather certainly calls knits and denim for a day of game-watching. So with the Seminole Style series back in action this week, a garnet sweater and gold sneakers was all I needed to cheer on Florida State this week. Turtlenecks have never been one of my go-to styles (I honestly can’t remember the last time I owned one) but when it’s in the form of an oversized crop sweater and paired with destructed denim – I’m totally on board with this cozy look for the season. Oh, and can we talk about how much I love this knit hat…perfect for those crazy days when hair washing is not an option. Happy game day my fellow football lovers…can you believe the season is almost over!

Plaid prints, light layers, riding boots, and wool hats – that is how I love to bring in my favorite season: fall! And really, there’s no better way to celebrate the fresh, cooler temperatures than with a little smart shopping, right? With that, I’m excited to announce that I’ve teamed up with Nordstrom Rack again this month, but this time I’ll be part of their new store opening in Philadelphia for their pre-opening shopping event on October 23rd from 4-8pm and would love to see you there! The store (located at 1700 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA) doesn’t officially open till the 24th, but Poor Little It Girl readers are getting the exclusive on all of Nordstrom Rack’s latest and greatest finds! Oh, and one lucky winner who signs up for this event will have a chance to partner with me for a fun one-on-one styling session, too!
