You Put A Double On Your Troubles, The Light At This End Of The Tunnel Is Always Neon…

How To Wear Neon With Poor Little It Girl{All image credits can be found via my Pinterest page}

Wearing neon is always a bit tricky. You want to come off cool and totally posh without looking like you were just in fight, and lost, to a couple buckets of paint. With the dreary gray skies in DC right now (seriously weather Gods…can we work on this and bring a little sunshine?!) I am craving some serious color. It all started with this neon skirt from Madewell and then drawing colors from this Anna Balkan necklace, I found a fun mix by incorporating multiple shades of neon with a couple neutrals to create one fab look this season.

Weekly Weakness – Jigsaw London Striped Dress

Sometimes it’s just best to keep things simple. Bring it back to basics if you will. That’s why I abosloutley love the simplicity of this Jigsaw London striped dress. The sweater-like material is perfect for the chilly season, but lightweight enough that you’re not going to feel heavy and restricted. I’d totally pair this with black tights, heels and a blazer, but rocking it in a more casual way with flats is totally doable too! While purchasing trendy pieces are always fun, don’t forget to invest in those basic, versatile pieces too! (Jigsaw London Striped Dress, $75)

Weekly Weakness – American Threads Party Dress

We’re hardly into December and my party schedule for the next few weeks is pretty insane. Sure the Little Black Dress is an easy and totally appropriate choice, but what about when you want to get dressed up in something a bit different? This is why I’m totally swooning over this dress by English Rose over at American Threads. I love the lace, I love the high-low hem, and I REALLY love the mixing of the brown, black and beige with the pop of neon…perfect for a holiday cocktail party this season! (American Threads, $64.99)
