You all know I’m a big advocate for drugstore beauty brands. While I enjoy a department store splurge here and there, majority of my makeup routine is made up of products I purchase while I’m waiting for a prescription refill. So I’ve decided to start a new series here in October, where I showcase my three favorite drugstore makeup brands, and the 3 products I can’t live without. To kick things off, I’m talking about CoverGirl! I have very sensitive skin, so an oil free foundation is a must-have, and this “Ready Set Gorgeous” is something I’ve been wearing for almost a year now. Next up is their “The Super Sizer” mascara that blows any fancy beauty brands mascara out of the water…it’s SO good. I even wore it here without any eyeliner/help of a lash curler so you can see just how amazing it is. Lastly, you know I can’t resist a pretty lip, and a subtle shade like this Colorlicious “Craving Cranberries” gloss gives the perfect amount of shine and color, ideal for everyday wear. So tell me, what are your favorite drugstore beauty products? They may just be featured next!

Ok, your lashes look so beautiful.I’m definatelygoing to grab that mascara. Is the lipgloss non-sticky? I tend to prefer the big lip crayons (Revlon) to a lipgloss, because they feel betteron my lips, not so gloopy.

You are absolutely gorgeous Cathy, love the first photo of you.

It’s a little sticky, but that’s just the gloss. I wore it all day and didn’t mind it at all! xoxo Cathy

I’m usually a Maybelline kind of girl, but that mascara is ridiculous!! No assist from eyeliner or an eyelash curler? Now that’s something I may need to check out for myself!

Your foundation looks incredible! I love CoverGirl but I’ve never actually used any of these three products. I’ll have to pick them up! Can’t wait to see more of this series. I love discovering new drugstore finds.

I am totally with you on being a fan of drugstore make-up brands. I need to give that mascara a try. It look amazing! I do think it’s worth splurging on foundation though. I use estee lauder double wear and it is insane. It literally stays on all day through everything (swimming included)

I’m a big fan of the L’Oreal brow products, especially their new plumper gel. It’s a must in my arsenal.
The Covergirl Supersizer mascara is also in daily rotation!

I picked up the mascara and lipgloss after reading this post – I love them both! I do find the lipgloss doesn’t have the greatest staying power – any tips?
    Thanks for the recommendations!!
