And The Set List You Stole Off The Stage Has Red And Purple Lipstick All Over The Page…

Maybe it’s my mothers voice that’s been ringing in my ears since I started wearing makeup, “Cathy, you need to put a little lipstick on!” but I never feel like my look is complete without a little color on my lips. While red is undoubtedly my go-to shade, I figured that since fall is upon us that my lipstick collection could go for a bit of updating. So I headed to my local drugstore and purchased almost twenty lipsticks (don’t worry, I was able to return the ones I hated…I checked!) and came across these eight shades that I just couldn’t get enough of. From nudes to purples to an obvious obsession with “cherries” here are a few of my favorite shades that you too can pick up at your local store.

Coral crush is absolute favorite lipstick! I might have a breakdown if Maybelline ever discontinues the color – looks lovely on you by the way. And I’m definitely going to try-out Plum Velour, totally feeling plum and dark berry lips for Fall. Great picks!

I’m lovin the reds you picked up! #7 is my favorite, it’s the right balance of orangey-red

Cherries in the Snow was Jackie Kennedy’s favorite lip shade. There was even a tube found in an evening bag that she owned after many of her things were auctioned off for charity. It’s also one of Revlon’s oldest lip shades. And, you have the perfect coloring for it. :)

I love Number 3 on you, and your mom sounds exactly like my step-mom. She tells me I look dead without lipstick on lol
