Poor Little It Girl - How To Do A Bold Lip

It’s no secret I’m a sucker for a bold lip. From bright red to a deep plum – I don’t shy away from any shade. So while I’ve shared with y’all a few of my favorite lipsticks that I wear throughout the year, I thought it might be fun to also share how I keep that deep lip look on all day. There’s not a lot to it, just a few steps that make a big difference in updating your daily makeup routine.

Step One – Use a lip liner similar in color to your lipstick and go around the edge of your lips to create a smooth, clean edge.

I’ve been trying out Mac Rebel, same as you. Thanks for the tips– it’s not so easy to apply and I agree that it needs a liner!

Gorgeous! I love that you use a mix of department store and convenience store brands! I want to try this plum. I have the Revlon Lip Crayon in a plum color and it is devine. Then I use the Stila Beso (like Atlantic Pacific) for my red. Taylor uses NARS Dragon Girl, so I obviously need to try that!
