Well, it’s freezing in the morning, so outfit photos before work involve frigid winds and no coats, oh joy! I mean, I love the cooler weather, but dressing up and having to smile for the camera when you can’t feel your fingers…not so much. In an attempt to keep warm, I’m already starting to pick up some thick-ish layering pieces I can incorporate into looks all season long. First example: this oversize turtleneck shirt. I’m not one that typically owns turtleneck tops, but this one felt so cool and is super comfortable, I felt I had to give it whirl. So while I was cozy on the top, my legs totally froze, but showing off my new weakness was a must. I mean, if I’m going to freeze, I may as well be wearing pieces I absolutely love!

Before work? I thought you were all bloggin’ all the time now? :) Anywho, love this, and I’m gonna need to go out and get that lipstick IMMEDIATELY. I have pale skin, blond hair, and blue eyes so I’m hoping it will look good on me too!

I must totally agree: I’m from Montreal, Canada, and our mornings are getting a little more than chilly. I had to break out a wool coat during my morning errands today… brrr!

Your dress is just so lovely. Tell me, how do you maintain a pleated skirt? I’m always wanting to get one but so afraid of it losing its crisp folds!

    Stay fab,

Just make sure you take it to a dry cleaner that is OK with keeping the pleats! xoxo Cathy
