I Could Tell You A Story Or Two, Of Course I Learned Some Rules
Like Don’t Pass Out With Your Shoes On…

Ladies, my feet HURT! With all the running around Atlanta finalizing everything before the big move next month, me and heels just aren’t best friend anymore. Why is it that men don’t have to deal with the pain of 4-inch stilettos…ever? Guess I’ll take a fashion tip from the fella’s and embrace some menswear inspired footwear for a while. Loafers, slippers and oxfords are all over the place this season in tons of prints colors and fabrications. My feet are thankful.

  1. I’ve been a die-hard heel person all of my life, until all of a sudden menswear-inspired shoes absolutely cannot be avoided, and all of a sudden I’m a convert! Great post!

  4. I feel ya! This fashion week may need some smoking slippers or oxfords so as to not lose feeling in my toes for a few weeks (true story). Will you be going this season, I would love to get together if we are both there! Hope you are well and good luck with that move!

  5. I bought a pair of taupe oxfords with cute gold trim to wear for dancing at my wedding in October, knowing my feet would want to be free of my heels at some point! I wasn’t sure how often I would wear them after the fact. The answer — ALL THE TIME. They’re cute, dressy enough for my studio job and so comfy!

  6. I may or mat not be wearing comfy loafers today… I love numbers 1 and 7! I love the idea of a pointy toe loafer and a sequin loafer!

  8. These are all awesome. I love the tassels on 3 and 5, and adore the cut on the first pair. Flats are often highly underrated. I couldn’t agree more that sometimes they can look even better than a pair of heels. :)

    Happy Thursday!
