Poor Little It Girl - How To Re-wear Your Summer Dresses - @poorlilitgirl

Given that we all go dress-crazy in the summer (well, at least I do), it’s important to know how to re-wear your summer sundresses to bring them into fall. The best way to do that, I’ve found, is with the addition of a sweater. Sure, you can pair your favorite sundress with a cardigan, but what I really love doing is to wear them with pull over sweaters to make it look more like a shirt and skirt combo. When I purchased this dress earlier in these summer, given the price tag (don’t worry, it is now on crazy sale!) I knew I wanted to make sure there was more ways to wear it as the temperatures changed. This pullover from Gap has quickly become my favorite layering piece for the season, and I love how it brought this summer dress into fall with a more dressed up, professional look.

This sweater from Gap is tight enough to give this a “put together” look but loose enough so it doesn’t wrinkle the dress underneath and create lumps! xoxo Cathy

I use dirty hair and dry shampoo to make it appear thicker/easier to braid! xoxo Cathy
