I know everyone has been saying it, but it’s been freakishly warm here in Atlanta this month. Guess I’m just used to Washington, DC where you’re outside freezing in the snow all January/February wanting to cry. Now, I’m heading out with no jackets on and my snow boots are collecting dust, whoohoo! Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate snow/cold. It’s fine for a little bit. But I’ll take this crazy warm Georgia heat in the middle of winter any day!
So instead of stocking up on more boots and coats this season, I’ve found myself going for lighter long sleeve layers and classic blue jeans to wear. This ruffled sleeve top from Anthropologie was a recent purchase I love! Of course I’m a stripe girl, but the ruffle detailing is my favorite part. It’s super lightweight too and paired perfectly with my plum bag. I don’t bring a ton of purple here to the blog (here are a look back at some of those looks) but that’s ok. Maybe it’s why I bought this shirt in the first place. Plus I had fun mixing prints with my leopard flats to add a bit of fun to this look too!
