Sweater Weather Favorites - Poor Little It Girl

The weather is finally cooperating here in Atlanta. By that, I mean it’s finally cold outside. My favorite sweaters I’ve stocking up on this season, and some old favorites, are finally out of hiding and I’m loving every minute. Right now, no matter what retailer you shop at, cozy knits are in full force! So today on the blog, I wanted to showcase a few of my go-to’s for the season that you’ll find me wearing all fall and winter long. First up, this cozy white knit that you won’t believe where I purchased it from. Forever 21! I know! Y’all, if there’s one sweater you need to get from this post, this one would be it. Next to my sweatshirt, this is the softest thing I own.

While I typically stick to neutrals when it comes to sweaters, it’s ok to go bold once in a while. I’ve had this yellow one from Madewell for at least five years and always get so many compliments when I wear it out. I also have a neon pink one that I love just as much. Paired with classic blue jeans and Converse sneakers, this is certainly one of my uniforms for the season.

If there’s one sweater you saw a lot of on the blog last fall/winter, it was this turtleneck one from Banana Republic. It seriously is my number one favorite! Dressed up or down it doesn’t matter. I’m kicking myself for not snagging it in more colors when I had the chance.

I just counted, there are over 30 sweaters in my closet currently, yikes! But honestly, they’re just the best layering piece for fall and winter and I wear them all the time! Best part, so many places are offering these cozy knits on sale right now for the holiday season, and these make great gifts for the holiday season. So start shopping and stay warm…sweater weather is here!

It’s the best time of year where you just need sweaters and jeans and not so cold that the big coats have to come out…it’s the best! xoxo Cathy

Love this! I went through my closet and donated a lot of old sweaters. I really did a job there because now I’m cold and can’t find enough sweaters to wear! Ha! This post is coming at the perfect time, as I need to up my sweater game.
