This past week has be totally crazy with my trip to Atlanta for the 1st annual Southern Blog Society brunch (recap post coming soon!). I mean crazy in a good way though, as Jessica and myself organized gift bags, finalized press releases and triple checked our blogger guest list, it sort of slipped my mind, “Oh yeah, I need a Poor Little It Girl post!” now that I’m back to my normal routine. So in between the downpours we’ve been having here in DC, I managed to snap some shots in the midst of running some quick post-trip errands in my favorite new green maxi skirt. Of course I also had to add on some of my favorite goodies from my Southern Blog Society Brunch gift bag like my new denim jacket, initial bangle and statement necklace…swoon!

Shoes, how I love thee, let me count the ways! While I always go for flats for their comfort and ease, I really never feel done up if I don’t have a killer heel on to finish off an equally killer outfit. With summer here, I’m keeping my nude pumps at home (although I still love them, don’t get me wrong) and instead and ready to show off my fresh pedicure with some bold colored footwear! Whether you like lots of hardware, a solid wedge, an sexy ankle strap or sultry suede, you can’t go wrong with any of these heels for summer! Obviously the rainbow was my inspiration for my favorite shoes, a girl needs choices!

There really is nothing that screams spring more than denim.
