I have always wished I was one of those people who vacationed this time of year, as stores are pushing out the winter-wear and making way for Resort! If you’re lucky enough to be traveling on an ideal beach or European vacation, Resort Wear doesn’t just include swimsuits and sandals, but lightweight pieces you can layer to create new looks. This travel-inspired post also serves as a lead in to a big annoucement: PLIG is moving! That’s right, after two years in Atlanta I’m excited to start a new chapter and will be heading back up north and settling down in Washington D.C. next month! While out shopping during the holidays, I picked up this dot print blouse from Madewell (on sale) that was just too cute to pass up. As I left there and headed into Forever 21, where I couldn’t resist this little brocade mini. Before I knew it, I was in Express picking up a new pair of black tights and found myself at Target purchasing new nerdy specs to finish off my look. I didn’t mean to go out shopping for one complete outfit…but I must admit it was fun running around putting this mixed-prints look together!
