There really is no place like New York City. With the IFB Conference and Fashion Week on my itinerary, I’m still trying to embrace my short time here for the place I once called home. While the weather is a bit rainy (no more suede shoes for me!), I’m still hoping to hit up a few more of my favorite coffee shops and see some good friends while I’m here.

A big thank you to my favorite Atlanta blogger, Jessica from My Style Vita, for quickly snapping these pictures, in the rain, during our break at the conference!

Fall is slowly but surely coming to the south…thank goodness! Morning and evening temperatures are leaning towards the cooler side, which calls for light layers. But that doesn’t mean I’m ready to cover up entirely! With this being my first pair of totally sexy animal print heels, they deserved to be the star of this transitional outfit, so I paired them with my favorite pair of short shorts and the perfect pink peplum blouse.
