There really is no place like New York City. With the IFB Conference and Fashion Week on my itinerary, I’m still trying to embrace my short time here for the place I once called home. While the weather is a bit rainy (no more suede shoes for me!), I’m still hoping to hit up a few more of my favorite coffee shops and see some good friends while I’m here.
A big thank you to my favorite Atlanta blogger, Jessica from My Style Vita, for quickly snapping these pictures, in the rain, during our break at the conference!

So it’s Labor Day Weekend…that means summer is officially over. While fall has always been my favorite season (I have an obsession with scarves and tights), something about summer ending is still depressing. But since fall is here, might as well enjoy it! And I embrace the change to the cooler season with my favorites in black (faux) leather fashions! This is by far my favorite style for fall, as it just screams bad ass and chic all at the same time and can be worn in everything from skirts to shorts to jackets and accessories!

I am so happy I finally own a peplum top…and a dang cute one at that! Maybe I was a little late to jump on the popular peplum bandwagon but oh well…I’m obsessed with this new white wonder from Topshop! Besides living in fear of spilling something on me while wearing it, my favorite part of this top has to be the embellished collar because with all the gloomy and gray weather we’ve been having in Atlanta, it feels good to add a bit of sparkle to my day.
