I Reach Out From The Inside In Your Eyes, The Light, The Heat. In Your Eyes I Am Complete…

Everyday Eye Makeup with Poor Little It Girl

I don’t have a very extensive makeup routine. Whether I’m heading to work or out to a more formal affair, I follow the same few steps to achieve my look. With an addiction to bold lipsticks, I always keep my eyes minimal, having not even owned eyeshadow till Santa my mom put this palette in my stocking this past Christmas. So for my daily eye makeup routine, I figured I’d share my few steps that I do in the mornings to achieve my everyday eyes.

Step 1: I have issues with under eye circles, so I like to use a brightener that is lightweight but also conceals my dark areas.

Step 2: For my fair skin, I use the ‘Cream’ color to provide a neutral base to my eyelids.

Step 3: To add a bit of color, the ‘Light Pink’ compliments my blue eyes and works with my skin tone and rosy cheeks.

Step 4: Somewhere between a winged tip and a normal line is how I usually wear my liquid eyeliner. With a steady hand and years of practice I take the line from the inner corner all the way to the outer edge of my eye.

Step 5: For the past year this is the only mascara I’ve used as it makes my already long lashes full and voluminous.

I went to my makeup guru and friend Jessica, over at Easy on the Eyelinerto help me out. Wanting to keep things classic and easy, she walked me through what I needed to do to even my skin tone and draw the perfect cat-eye. Check out the step by step process of my updated face for day!
