Ladies, my feet HURT! With all the running around Atlanta finalizing everything before the big move next month, me and heels just aren’t best friend anymore. Why is it that men don’t have to deal with the pain of 4-inch stilettos…ever? Guess I’ll take a fashion tip from the fella’s and embrace some menswear inspired footwear for a while. Loafers, slippers and oxfords are all over the place this season in tons of prints colors and fabrications. My feet are thankful.

I came across this tutu over at Anthropologie about a month ago (many of you were swooning over it when I put it up on Instagram) and instantly fell in love. After dreaming of ways to flutter around like a ballerina this holiday season in this full tulle skirt, I had to pull the trigger and maker her mine! This is, without a doubt, my favorite purchase of the year.

Well I’ll Keep Drinkin’ And You’ll Keep Gettin’ Skinnier. I’m Just Like You, Only Prettier…

It’s not even that cold outside and I’ve already found myself in a rut of wearing my oversized sweaters and figure un-flattering boyfriend jeans on a daily basis. What happened to those body-hugging skinny jeans (that make me look like I actually have a butt) and wearing a belt with, umm…EVERYTHING to define my tiny waist? Ok, time to lock it up and remember that boys don’t like girls who have the figure of a box – so this post is dedicated to me bringing back the skinny in my life! For fall, I’m taking those tried and true skinnies and rock them with my favorite silk button downs (frat-tucked of course) and making sure my shapeless dresses worn with tights are cinched with a skinny belt. Here’s to bringing back a feminine figure this season!
