The Launch of Wayfair Wedding Registry + Sweepstakes

Adam and I have been engaged for nine months now. It’s crazy to think how quickly time has flown by since last December. Honestly though, we’re really just enjoying this time and are in no rush. Currently our plan is to get married in the fall of next year. While we’re not having the conventional big wedding, there are some traditional elements that I hope to incorporate into our smaller nuptials. A beautiful dress, flowers and memorable photos are at the top of that list.

With that, I’m excited to share that I’ve partnered with beloved home shopping destination, Wayfair, as they launch their first ever wedding registry! Couples can now conveniently register for everything home, all in one place. I’ve curated my own registry wish list with some of my favorite products from their site. With more than seven million products, the possibilities are endless! They also offer Group Gifting, too! So if you’re dreaming of new furniture or gourmet appliances, but can’t imagine asking your guests to splurge on this one item, this feature allows multiple guests to contribute toward your biggest wishes. Just mark an item as a Group Gift, and your friends and family will be able to pitch in their desired amount. You’ll get the gifts you love at the price they want—win-win!

To celebrate the launch of Registry, Wayfair is also offering couples a chance to win $20,000 to put toward their big day. To enter, couples must sign up for Wayfair Registry and add at least $1,000 worth of product to their registry between September 20th, 2016 and November 30th, 2016. No purchase necessary. I was wondering when you were going to post about wedding stuff! My husband and I got engaged around the same time as you and Adam, last year (December 16th), and we just got married on September 17th. Enjoy the wedding planning!

Congrats!! I am just not really into the whole wedding planning thing…we’re going to have a small intimate elopement so that’s why I haven’t said much. Probably going to do something next fall! xoxo Cathy

Hi Cathy! Good for you two!! My fiancé and I are thinking of doing an intimate elopement ourselves but haven’t know any other couples doing anything like that, so I’d love to hear more about your plans, if anything to feel like we aren’t the *only* ones who want something small :)

PS – love your blog!! I live in DC and have been following for quite awhile!

Oh that’s so fun, congrats! Adam and I probably won’t start planning much till early next year…I think we’re going to do a fall wedding. I’ll be sure to keep y’all in the loop! xoxo Cathy

Like everyone else, I think the bar cart is amazing! I also think that a kitchen aid mixer should be on just about every wedding registry. I use mine all the time- it was asich a great gift!!
