What Would Jimmy Buffett Do?

College was amazing…duh. But ever since I did my guest post for my friend and blogging extraordinaire Kathryn at Sweet Tea and Champagne (see my post here) while she was on Spring Break, I am overwhelmed with missing the best 4 years of my life. I’m nothing but peanut butter and jealous for all those college folk that look forward to a week off of responsibilities to relax and tan and waste away in Margaritaville. Just a fun week with the girls to let loose on a Caribbean cruise or on the coast of Cancun…please someone take me back to a life with Spring Breaks!

Since I sit inside all day at work, I always seem to catch myself day dreaming of this most special time of year. Naturally my mind wanders to what I would pack as I go on my tropical adventure, and all I see are bright florals, bold flip-flops and a huge floppy hat! No maxi dresses or leather anything, all I want is cool cotton and straw accessories that help showcase my golden tan.

So if you’re out of the college years and stuck in that 9 to 5 work rut, just close your eyes and imagine the sun and heat of a carefree Spring Break! Carlos & Charlie’s anyone?

I love “the sac” and the glasses, for summer they’re perfect. Don’t know if I can find them in Europe !

I heart those sunglasses!! I saw a pair like them in H & M not nearly as fun (they were brown) but I was so close to making a purchase when I saw a straw hat that caught my heart instead!!
